All businesses employing five or more people must, by law have a written health and safety policy, that is also reviewed at least annually. Many smaller organisations require one to work as contractors for larger organisations. We are able to work with you to write a bespoke health and safety policy and statement that is suitable for your business requirements.

CDM Advisor

We understand that Principal Designers, Principal Contractors and Clients may need to put support in place to meet their obligations under the CDM 2015 regulations. We are able to act as an appointed Principal Design Advisor allowing companies to fulfil their legal requirements.

Our services cover everything that is required to make sure that the CDM duty-holders comply with CDM 2015 legislation and protect their company’s professional reputation.

Training

Integrated Health & Safety can offer both classroom based and online e-learning training courses for your employees, managers and supervisors, covering a wide range of health and safety subjects relevant to your business.

The sessions are interactive and a certificate is provided to delegates once training has been completed.

Site Audits and Inspections

We are able to undertake site audits and inspections for our clients on site or at fixed locations. Following to the audit/inspection we will produce a report highlighting any shortcomings identified in your workplace, along with recommendations in ways you can eliminate or adequately control them.

Risk Assessments 

Carrying out risk assessments is an essential part to having safe areas of work and keeping accidents to a minimum. They are also a legal requirement under the Management of Health and Safety at Work Regulations 1999.

The aim of any risk assessment is to identify risks and take suitable and sufficient measures to minimise the likelihood of any harm or damage occurring. We work with clients to ensure that their risk assessments are comprehensive and all identified significant hazards are effectively controlled.

Competent Person

Employers are required by the Management of Health and Safety Regulations to appoint a Competent Person to assist them regarding Health and Safety matters.

With our Retainer Contract, Aspect Health and Safety will act as your competent person. This enables you to comply with the law and entitles you to use our company name and that of our consultants on any Pre-Qualification Questionnaires or third party accreditation schemes such as CHAS, Safecontractor, SMAS etc.
